Murray Solomon The Foundation's primary purpose is to support the students and faculty of Columbus Technical College while standing behind the college's mission of providing a quality, job ready education. This is done through financial assistance in teacher supplements, scholarships, emergency loans and the like. The Foundation also works with employees by sponsoring various events for the faculty and staff.

The Columbus Technical College Foundation is a fine steward of your charitable contributions. Please consider pledging to the Foundation so those commitments can continue long into the future. Thanks for your continued support.

Golf Tournament 2010

April 15, 2010: Chairman of the Columbus Technical College Foundation Board, Murray Solomon (left), accepts a ceremonial check for $18,000 raised from a golf tournament sponsored by the construction company in charge of the future Robert L. Wright Jr. Health Sciences Center, SKANSKA. Also pictured are SKANSKA's Senior Vice President Alan Scoggins and Assistant Project Manager Jenna Carter.

April 13, 2010: A total of 18 three or four-person teams signed up to play in the fundraiser golf tournament for the Columbus Technical College Foundation. Teams from SKANSKA construction, Stanley Beaman & Sears architects, Columbus Technical College, Aflac, CB&T and many more participated in the event. Volunteers from St. Francis hospital were on hand to sign the golfers in at Maple Ridge.

Stanley Beaman & Sears architects provided a hamburger and hot dog lunch with all the fixin's for the golfers before everyone teed off. Alexander Electric was the beverage sponsor for the tournament.

SKANSKA's Project Manager David Hansmann gets ready to announce all the winners after the golf tournament. Prizes ranged from gag golf clubs for "the team that tried hardest" to $40 gift certificates to the Maple Ridge golf shop for each golfer from the team with the lowest score. The big winners were the CB&T team members: Rick Gordy, Matt Hussey, Merritt Lancaster and Scott McClung. Thanks to all who came out to play and support the Columbus Technical College Foundation!
