Susan Coleman: A Personal Success Story

A few years ago, I realized there was something missing in my life. I was happily married and had been a successful marketing executive for eleven years, having left the design world in 1994 when the first of my three children was on the way. But even with what many would call a fulfilled life, something didn't 'feel right.'

...my main objective has always been to be home each day when my children arrive from school... I think this experience has been great for them. They watch me set goals and achieve them, and they understand that sometimes it means making sacrifices.

After a bit of soul searching, I registered as a Radiologic Technology student at Columbus Technical College, with the goal of securing a position in general diagnostic radiography. I enrolled in school full time while working as a Tech Assistant part time.

Despite the non-stop schedule, my main objective has always been to be home each day when my children arrive from school. Looking back, I think this experience has been great for them. They watch me set goals and achieve them, and they understand that sometimes it means making sacrifices.
