Real Solutions

The Time is Now

Meeting the needs of providing additional healthcare professionals is priority one at Columbus Technical College at this time.

Unfortunately, funding limitations have kept the college from implementing other programs that are in high demand. Budget constraints have also forced Columbus Technical College to turn away more than 600 fully qualified students in areas of critical need, including registered nursing and practical nursing.

The Tomorrow's Workforce... Today campaign will assist the College in implementing programs and in building new teaching facilities on its River Road property.

A new Health Sciences building will provide a premier learning environment. It will also allow Columbus Technical College to more than double the number of qualified nursing students accepted and increase the number of Allied Health students by as much as 50%. It will provide the financial foundation for the college to offer students at least seven new programs.

State government funding will be applied to this venture but it is just a small piece of the puzzle. A privately-funded capital campaign will allow Columbus Technical College to forge ahead with its River Road campus plans much sooner.

The time is now. Columbus Technical College has never before embarked on a capital fundraising campaign. The urgent need of healthcare professionals in the greater Columbus area is the challenge. Columbus Technical College is ready to be the solution.
